Selecting a Schutzhund prospect, whether puppy or young adult, requires experience and a well-developed ability to evaluate and understand the traits and temperament needed for the sport. Only a small percentage of dogs are capable of achieving Schutzhund titles. Accordingly, we strongly recommend that anyone considering the purchase of a puppy or a dog for this sport consult with GASA Training Director Fabian Walker. He also can recommend and arrange contacts with top breeders in Belgium and Germany.
