Fabian Walker

Fabian Walker has been active in Schutzhund and other dog training activities for 30 years. He joined both USCA and GASA in 1981 and has served as GASA’s training director for 25 years. Fabian has titled several dogs to SchH 3 as well as guiding nearly 30 club members and their dogs to SchH 3 titles. Fabian first trained as a helper in the early 1980s and has been a trial helper at both club and regional levels. He is highly regarded for his expertise as a teaching helper in training the protection phase, including solving difficult problems and getting maximum performance from dogs.

Over the years, Fabian has seen the sport evolve and change. He advises those looking for a club "to find one that suits your personality, your dog and your training style. Select a dog and a club that can best assist you achieve your goals in the sport." Fabian is usually available at the club to assist members during the Saturday training session. He also conducts private coaching sessions during the week.
